The total minimum recommended thickness is 13mm, (1/2").

The base layer consists of Black Styrene Butadiene rubber (SBR) granules, bound together with a specially formulated, 100% solids MDI based single component polyurethane, at a thickness of 10mm (3/8"). The top layer consists of a specially formulated, colored polyurethane into which Ethylene Propylene Dience Monomer (EPDM) rubber granules have been embedded before curing for a thickness of 3mm (1/8").
